Highly recommend. The food is amazing every time. We always get the turkey shoulder ribs. Strangest most 1 of a kind meat you will ever have.

Yall, look here, this place is incredible!!! My old BBQ place closed down and I haven't havd a BBQ "home" for a while now. I saw a commercial on TV and I just had to come try the place out, boy am I glad that I did! I got a 3 meat meal with two sides, desert and drink. My buddy got a pulled BBQ Sammy and one side, drink and desert. I got brisket, ribs, wings, beans, hash, and cornbread. The Brisket, wings, beans and sweet cornbread are nothing short of heaven on earth. They were the best I have ever had and I literally felt joy and endorphins release, just WOW! Ribs, and hash are good, just didn't make me slap my momma lol. Buddy loved his sandwich and slaw. We never ate the desert yet, too dang full! Will be back to try all the rest of the food, what a time to be alive! Totally forgot, they have a great atmosphere inside as well, pumping 90s jams one after another!

This was my 1st time here & it was amazing. The brisket, the chicken wings (a little hard & dry), but, oh my goodness, the turkey ribs were amazing. They have collards, not like mine, but close. They were delicious. The macaroni & cheese were also good. They have lil cornbread muffins that are good too. Overall, the experience was great. The son could have been a little more polite & welcoming, but that won't stop me from ordering again. Im not from here so I wanted some BBQ & I called around & if it wasn't for Robert, who answered the phone & was very helpful, I would not have probably tried it, since it was out of my way in the opposite direction.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Brown sugar wings are amazing. Burnt ends were nice. The chicken breast was moist and juicy. All the sides were yummy, but I liked the cabbage casserole the best. Very friendly staff. Nice decor and extremely clean. I only regret not leaving room for dessert. I highly recommend this bbq place.

I usually don’t write reviews I decided to try Holy smokes out seeing an add online .this place is one of the best BBQ places I’ve tried through out the whole Kentucky . The atmosphere was great. Great costumer service . Wings are one of a kind I will definitely be going back regularly

Holy smokes recently cater my wedding and their food and customer service was amazing. All our guests went crazy for the turkey ribs and wings. Ever since setting up the tasting we received the best customer service and the food didn’t disappoint. Terry, we want to thank you and your staff for making everything so easy and delicious!

The food is delicious!!! Very fresh and reminds me of the food my grandparents made/served at family gatherings--which was the GREATEST!!! The lady at the counter was absolutely delightful and courteous and seemed to really care about the customer. It was great chatting with her! The atmosphere is charming and laid back and very comfortable. This is a great place with wonderful food! Treat yourselves to this place!

Our first visit and the experience is one to remember. I heard the two hour wait came from it being the fourth of July. My husband said the food was delicious, and maybe he would try it again..
